I wanted to try a chipper for shots around the green that a wedge might be too much for. I ordered the Bombtech chipper and took it to the local pitch and putt course and ended up using it more often than my pitching wedge. I only used it on the one outing so far, but I can definitely tell this is going to be a handy club to have in my bag.
